FAQs
Everything you need to know before your pet's visit.
What vaccinations are required?
For the safety of every pet in our care, dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP (DA2PP) vaccinations before any grooming, daycare, or boarding appointment.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Every dog is different. Breed, coat type, lifestyle, and your desired maintenance schedule all play a role. We're happy to recommend a grooming schedule that's right for your pet.
Do you groom anxious or senior dogs?
Absolutely. We specialize in working with nervous, anxious, elderly, and first-time grooming dogs. Our goal is always humanity over vanity—we'll never force a dog through a service they're not comfortable with.
Can I stay while my dog is groomed?
To provide the calmest environment possible, we ask that owners return once grooming is complete. Many dogs are more relaxed and cooperative when their owners aren't present.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Yes! Puppy introduction appointments are a great way to create positive experiences that build confidence for future grooming visits.
Boarding-
What should I bring?
You're welcome to bring your dog's food, medications, and any comfort items they'd enjoy. If needed, we can also provide food, bowls, and comfortable bedding options.
Is someone with the dogs overnight?
Yes. An overnight kennel technician lives on the property just steps from our boarding facility, so someone is always nearby should your pet need anything during the night.
Will my dog play with other dogs?
If appropriate and if you approve. Dogs are grouped based on temperament, size, and play style. If your dog prefers one-on-one time or isn't social, we'll happily accommodate their needs.
How much outside time do dogs get?
Plenty! We believe boarding should feel like a vacation. Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play throughout the day with breaks inside to rest in our climate-controlled facility. We don’t believe in short scheduled potty breaks, if the weather permits and the dogs want to enjoy outside time that is what we are going to do!
Can you administer my dogs medications?
Yes. We can administer most medications according to your instructions during your dog's stay.
Appointments
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be scheduled online through MoeGo, by phone, or by messaging us on Facebook.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We understand that plans change. We simply ask that you provide as much notice as possible. Please note that cancellation and no-show policies do apply.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Some quick services, such as nail trims, may be available depending on our schedule, but appointments are always recommended.
Can I tour the facility?
No. We do not offer in-person tours of our facility.
This policy is in place primarily for insurance and safety liability reasons. As a working boarding and grooming facility, our first responsibility is protecting the pets already in our care. Allowing visitors throughout the facility creates unnecessary safety risks, increases liability, and can disrupt the calm environment we've worked hard to create.
Many of our boarding guests are also nervous, anxious, or reactive dogs who thrive on consistency and minimal outside distractions. We believe it's more important to protect their comfort, safety, and privacy than to compromise those standards by allowing public tours.
While we don't offer physical tours, we're happy to provide photos of our facility or schedule a FaceTime tour so you can see where your pet will be staying, ask questions, and feel confident in the care they'll receive—all without compromising the safety of the pets already in our care.
